My mother-in-law prepared this dish after my wedding. It was extremely tasty that I couldn’t bear not to ask how to make it. I ended up with this exceptional recipe.


Prep time: 10 minutes Pakistan Pakistani
Cook time: 1 hour Servings: 5




  1. Brown onions in hot oil.
  2. Add cumin, cloves, cardamoms and peppercorns. Stir fry for 1 minute.
  3. Add ginger and garlic. Saute for 1 minute. Season with salt, MSG and chili powder.
  4. Mix meat, water, tomatoes and onions. Cover and pressure cook for 30 minutes or until meat is tender and sauce thickens.
  5. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
